This guidance addresses hydrogen-specific integrity and safety considerations to support the design, operation, and requalification of offshore hydrogen pipelines, supplementing existing submarine pipeline standards. It is intended for new pipeline developments and repurposing existing offshore infrastructure for hydrogen transport. The guidance was developed through a joint industry project from 2021 to 2026 involving 37 industry partners, with a third phase launching to include full-scale pipe testing. |
