DOC AROUND EUROPE GENERATION is the new project fostered by the documentary festival network DOC AROUND EUROPE.Its objective, is to enlighten, inspire and propel the Documentary European Emerging Talents by:Fostering their circulation across Europe and internationally. Building audience awareness and access to their works, among young communities.Motivating their professional growth and strengthening their connection with the industry and their peers.To achieve such challenges, the project counts with the experience,knowhow,and leadership of 5 European Documentary Film Festivals, with over 35 years’ experience, that now get together in the DAE Film Festival Network.Defined in 2019 and launched in February 2020,the festivals that form the network are:DOK.fest München(Munich,Germany),main initial promoter,37 editions completed, one of the largest documentary film festivals in Germany, with over 30.000 audience in theatres & 50.000 online, yearlong screenings and an educational program.DOCSBCN (Barcelona,Spain),main documentary film Festival and Market in Spain with 25 editions executed, with over 15.000 audiences in theatres,80.000 online, educational section, yearlong program with over 200.000 audience outreach in cinemas and online.FIPADOC (Biarritz, France),the youngest partner in name and calendar with 5 completed editions, but with the strongest industry background team, knowledge, and an outstanding audience impact both at a general and young ecommunities level,with results of over 20.000 viewers in cinemas in Biarritz,a large New Talent focused program with 5.000 school audiences.MakeDox(Skopje,Macedonia) a singular festival proposal, executing its 13th edition in 2022, with cared attention to cinematic narrative and talent, brings to the network the charisma of a detailed and highly intimate event, with a strategic look to the talents. Verzió(Budapest,Hungary) an Int. Human Rights Doc.Film Festival brings the social human rights approach to the talent impulse.
