_x000C_Dodson-Lindblom HydroPower Private Limited (DLHPPL) and Ascent Hydro Projects Limited (the Companies) are India-based companies formed between 1994 and 1997 to develop, own and operate hydropower generation assets in India. DLHPPL’s current asset base consists of one operating hydropower project with a capacity of 12 MW and has won the bid for acquiring an existing 34 MW hydropower project, both along the same river in the state of Maharashtra. Ascent Hydro’s current asset base consists of one hydropower project under construction in Madhya Pradesh (2.2 MW), with three projects in the pipeline comprising an additional 13 MW in Himachal Pradesh. The companies are owned by Dodson-Lindblom International (DLI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DLZ Corporation of the U.S. (DLZ or the sponsor). The three pipeline projects in Himachal Pradesh are currently in the process of being transferred to Ascent Hydro from another of DLI’s Indian subsidiaries, DLI Power (India) Private Limited. The project consists of the following elements: - rehabilitation of an existing power generation plant (Bhandardara 2 in Maharashtra, - completion of a power plant at Birsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh (MP), which is currently under construction and will utilize cooling water discharge from the Government-owned and operated Sanjay Gandhi Thermal Power Station; and - construction of three new run-of-river hydropower plants - Sechi, Panwi and Melan – in Himachal Pradesh (HP).
