Description | The Dogger Bank Wind Farm is the largest offshore wind farm in the U.K., initially comprising three phases (A, B, and C) each contributing approximately 1.2 GW of capacity. A fourth phase, Dogger Bank D, is proposed to add a further 1.5 GW of clean energy, increasing the total capacity to 5.1 GW. The project involves installing 113 fixed-bottom turbines and two offshore substations linked to onshore infrastructure in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Construction depends on securing a Development Consent Order and final investment decisions by SSE Renewables and Equinor. |
