Description | After dividing the DPOGA Domodedovo Airport complex into three companies (Domodedovo Airlines, Domodedovo Airport Navigation and Domodedovo Aeroservis), the government sold a 75% stake of Domodedovo Aeroservis, the company responsible for the management of the airport facilities (air navigation systems is 100% state owned). A new terminal costing US$ 400 million was constructed, which allowed an increase in passenger turnover from 2.5 million/year to 5 million/year. Construction works should be completed by mid-1998 and operation was scheduled to start in late 1999. Financial closure for the terminal project was achieved with East Line own resources.
