Description | Donlin Gold is a Tier One gold development project in Alaska with approximately 40 million ounces of measured and indicated gold resources. NOVAGOLD, owning 60% of the project, has launched a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) led by Fluor Corporation, with specialist contractors WSP, Worley, and Hatch advancing key infrastructure components including the on-site power plant, natural gas pipeline, and pressure oxidation circuit. The BFS is expected to be completed in 2027 to support project financing and development. The project is also exploring natural gas supply options through a non-binding Letter of Intent with Glenfarne Alaska LNG to power the mine, aiming to enhance cost efficiencies and project economics. |
