Description | The Dorado oil and gas field development offshore Australia is a $2 billion project by Santos. The project involves developing the Dorado field located approximately 150 kilometers offshore Western Australia in a water depth of around 90 meters. The development includes the use of the Nganhurra floating production, storage and offloading vessel, now named BW Hurra, for the initial phase to exploit Dorado's liquids. Santos plans to drill two to three wells in the broader Bedout basin to further appraise the area and is ready to accelerate the development if regulatory and government support is provided. |
