The project involves the Development work on the four sections of urban feeder roads of the pilot corridor of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in the City of Douala (12.594 km), Republic of Cameroon.The scope of work consists of the following services: The installation of the site, and the bringing and removal of the site equipment; The execution studies and production of documents; The various demolitions; the relocation of various networks; The general earthworks and the construction of a roadway with stopping strips according to the development plan; The construction of sidewalks; the installation of curbs; the construction of gutters; the construction of concrete platforms to serve as receptacles for household waste bins according to the plan; the construction of public benches; the construction of bus shelters; the installation of a public lighting network operating from solar sources; the installation of traffic lights; The completion of horizontal and vertical signaling works; The planting of shrubs on the TPC, around taxi stops and other species in the marshy area; As well as all measures to limit environmental and social impacts and prevent STIs and HIV/AIDS.
