Description | The Project involves repairs and accessibility upgrades to improve the existing arena infrastructure quality, accessibility and lifespan. The Project scope includes: refrigeration equipment replacement, roof replacement and associated repairs, basement rehabilitation, window replacement, BAS (Building Automation Systems) works, accessibility improvements and selected energy efficiency works. The Project will result in improved access to skating programs (including hockey, sled hockey and figure skating), youth ice sports, and public skating, It will also result in the extended life of the asset, reduce operating costs and increases facility efficiencies. |
