Description | Project consists of the installation of a new 200 mm diameter waterline Hill Road to Mill Road to eliminate two existing dead ends and improve the water quality for the downtown businesses and residents in this area within the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor. The scope of the project also includes the installation of storm infrastructure, curb and gutter and an offset sidewalk from Hill Road to the entrance to the Parks and Recreation depot along Scott Avenue which is approximately 1.1 Km in total distance. The project aims to improve water quality and the ability to directionally flush the water distribution system in the downtown area along with eliminate surface water runoff issues that several residents have experienced over the last number of years. This project will also improve access to our Gorge Park area by the addition of an offset sidewalk. |
