Description | The Boise Public Library downtown is undergoing a yearlong renovation to modernize and update the building. The renovation includes electrical system upgrades, plumbing, heating and cooling system updates, additional restrooms, and ADA compliance improvements. The first floor has been closed since September 2025 and will remain closed until the project's completion in September 2026. The entire building will be closed from May 3-12, 2026, to complete electrical work requiring power shutdown. |
