Downtown Tualatin Rejuvenation Conceptual Designs

University of Oregon architecture students presented 14 conceptual design presentations envisioning the rejuvenation of downtown Tualatin. The designs propose a 'village within a village' concept with mixed-use developments including residential, retail, and amenities such as brewpubs, gyms, and health clinics. The concepts incorporate biophilia with pedestrian corridors, green spaces, rooftop gardens, and elevated promenades to address floodplain challenges. The designs aim to create a self-contained, walkable district connected to the Tualatin River and nearby park.
