Description

Monarch Development Partners and Gonyea Custom Homes plan to construct a mixed-use building in downtown Victoria that includes 10 upscale condominiums and 6,000 square feet of commercial space. The project involves demolishing an existing 6,000-square-foot structure used for private storage and reconfiguring a city-owned parking lot. The development will feature three ground floor commercial spaces and 10 condos on the upper three floors, with private underground parking and public parking spaces. The commercial space will be owned by former Vikings quarterback Rich Gannon, who plans to use the smallest unit as a private vehicle showroom. The project is designed by DJR Architecture Inc. and civil engineering is by Sambatek. Construction is planned to begin in spring if approved.
