The project involves a brownfield installation of a cogeneration facility with integrated post-combustion carbon capture, expected to be operational towards the end of 2030. The Path2Zero project aims to create the world’s first net-zero emissions integrated ethylene cracker and derivatives site with respect to Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, producing 3.2 million metric tons of certified low- to zero-carbon polyethylene and derivatives annually. |
