Description | The Doylestown Township Municipal Authority received a $4,440,800 grant to support upgrades aimed at removing manganese and PFAS from the public water supply. The project includes construction of a new treatment building with Greensand Plus filters for manganese removal and granular activated carbon systems to treat PFAS. Additional improvements include new chlorination equipment, a chlorine detention tank, and a 30,000-gallon holding tank for treatment backwash water. The existing well-house and related infrastructure will be removed as part of the project. |
