Drainage Improvement On Vincent Street and Replace the Storm Sewers

The replacement of the existing storm sewer network on Vincent Street is deficient in capacity and does not provide adequate stormwater drainage for the street or surrounding properties. New High-density polyethylene (HDPE) storm sewer ranging in size from 300-450mm diameter will be installed. This project will see the installation of approximately 340m of new storm sewers. The storm sewers will connect to an existing outlet to Otter Creek. The drainage improvement that will result from this project being undertaken will affect 11 residential properties as well as two institutional properties. One is currently being utilized as a school and a second is where the school children are taken for physical activities. The project will also improve the drainage around the existing arena property which is utilized throughout the year for community functions and sporting events.
