Description | The Town of Drayton Valley Raw Water Pump Station project involved the upgrade and replacement of the treatment plant's raw water supply to allow for increased pumping capacity and to ensure that all critical infrastructure was relocated above the flood plain of the North Saskatchewan River system. This was the first municipal infrastructure project in North America to use the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model, which was selected by the Town of Drayton Valley in order to best leverage the innovation and combined strengths of the design team and construction industry to meet their budget and time constraints. |
