Dresden Landfill Expansion and Recycling Facility

Planned

York1 Environmental Waste Solutions plans to expand a dormant landfill site near Dresden by creating an eight-hectare landfill with a capacity of 1.62 million cubic metres and a maximum fill rate of 365,000 tonnes annually. The project also includes developing a regenerative recycling facility operating Monday to Saturday, accepting up to 6,000 tonnes per day of non-hazardous construction and demolition waste and 30,000 tonnes of unprocessed soils. The project aims to improve the environmental footprint of the site using state-of-the-art technology and create local jobs and economic activity.
