Description | The Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin is undergoing a full-scale renovation led by Pixiu Investments, Woodbine Development Corporation, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. The project includes renovation of all 189 guestrooms and suites, the grand lobby, historic staircase, meeting and event spaces, culinary venues, and addition of a new 2,800-square-foot ballroom, cocktail bar, curated retail space, and refreshed common areas. The renovation is in two phases: phase one debuts in Fall 2025 with redesigned 110 Tower Guest Rooms, fitness centre, and food and beverage sites; phase two completes by Summer 2026 focusing on the original guestroom tower's 74 rooms, main lobby, staircase, and retail boutique. |
