Description | DTEK developed the 200MW Botievo wind farm, Zaporizhzhya Region. The project was to be developed in two phases, the first phase of consisted of 30 turbines totaling 90MW. The second phase consisting of 100MW. Commissioning of the second phase was expected for 2014. The first phase was expected to be fully connected to the grid by late-2013. The wind turbines are supplied by Vestas, 30 turbines of the V112 type (3.0MW each). The firm's german subsidiary Vestas Deutschland is also in charge of constructing the wind farm. The project received a feed-in tariff of 0.1131 EUR/kWh, paid in domestic currency but pegged to the EURO. The tariff was guaranteed by law until 2030, for projects commissioning before 2014.
