Description | The present terminal buildings at Dowtown Ferry Terminal Wharf 1 and Wharf 2 were constructed in 2004. The canopies of these facilities are constructed of EPS roof panels supported by a steel rafter structure. In periods of heavy rain, the canopies have been known to leak rainwater through the sealed joints between panels into the passenger concourse below. The roof of Wharf 1, and the adjoining ATOC building were re-sealed in 2018 (successfully resolving the worst of the known leaks), however only a partial area of the Wharf 1 Roof was re-sealed due to budgetary limitations at the time.
