Description
Description | 2AL.L aims to address issues that have emerged in Albania's VET initial and continuing education, with particular reference to the tourism-rural sector, and drawing on the ETF's priorities for action for human capital development in the country. The objective is to develop a transnational, resilient and labor market-oriented vocational education model by integrating new practical learning methodologies to the already existing training processes, with the involvement of enterprises, local public authorities and territorial stakeholders. Regarding training, 2AL.L proposes to implement a retraining plan for Albanian VET trainers so that they will be able to provide to implement and innovate tourism in the rural areas of Albania. In any case, the project builds on best-practice models in vocational training, already successfully tested in other European contexts (e.g., dual system), to be adapted to the needs of VET providers in the region, improving the level of competencies, skills and employability profile of VET learners, providing key and strategic competencies on the issues, identified as priorities by the Commission itself, with a medium/long-term outlook. The specific objectives relate to the implementation of e-learning and workshop activities to foster the acquisition and application of the dual methodology in Albanian VET trainers, the design and implementation of training programs targeting students, low-skilled workers and all other categories of stakeholders identified in the needs analysis, also including mobility activities to foster the exchange of best practices among Albanian and partnership trainers. The 2AL.L program will be developed through the implementation of 5 WPs, for an estimated duration of 24 months, while the consortium will be composed of 5 organizations, of which ITS BACT, specialized in vocational training in tourism, as applicant. |
