Description | The project will rehabilitate a water treatment facility in Dungannon, Ontario. The work will involve the installation of arsenic filters, vertical pumps, reservoir tanks, variable frequency drives and interconnecting pipes and pumps. In addition, a new septic system for arsenic treatment backwash disposal and a new wellhouse will be constructed while pressure tanks will be relocated and the SCADA control system reprogrammed. The project will extend the life of the asset and improve the quality of drinking water by reducing arsenic levels to acceptable standards. |
