Durchführung des EU Jugenddialogs in Ostbelgien 2025-2026-2027

The EU Youth Dialogue is the main instrument of youth participation in Europe. Young people and decision-makers come together to exchange views on a specific issue. The Council of German-speaking Youth (RDJ) coordinates the working group on the EUYD in East Belgium. The members of the NWG implement the following actions: they ask young people to give their opinion on the respective topic, they bring these opinions to the European level through the European Youth Conferencesand they use the input from other countries and from the European level for their home region. In East Belgium, they then work out possible solutions with young people in order to improve the situation of youngsters in the matter of the respective issue. They discuss these possible solutions with local decision-makers and politicians in order to work out and publish realistic recommendations for action. As East Belgium is a very small region, exchanges with high-level politicians and decision makers are a reality for us and we want to make sure that this will continue for the 11th and 12th cycle of the EUYD. For this project, we as a NWG want to make the EUYD happening in East Belgium by gathering the opinion of young people on a respective topic and iby mplementing measues to improve the situation of young people in East Belgium. Moreover, we discuss the needs and challenges of young people with stakeholders and political decision makers. The application will enable us to organise the activities of the NWG in East Belgium.
