Durham Region Transit Specialized Services Fleet Replacements - 8 specialized buses

The proposed project involves the replacements of 8 specialized buses as well as structural engineering for future Q-Straint Quantum wheelchair securement system, specialty tooling and required parts. The replacement buses are aimed at enhancing mobility and comfort for specialized service clients. It is noted the proposed project is consistent with the Region’s strategic directions to mitigate climate change, provide an integrated/accessible transportation system for the movement of residents, and demonstrate leadership in asset management.
