Description | The Lieutenant Governor reviewed key infrastructure and urban development projects of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in Dwarka, focusing on world-class civic infrastructure and services. Projects include redevelopment of storm water channels into green corridors with cycling tracks, walkways, public plazas, and solar installations; strengthening sewage treatment and pollution control systems; a golf course project in Sector 24 with an 18-hole championship course, six short holes, and a driving range; a proposed five-star hotel project in Sector 23 under an annual licence fee model with a minimum of 200 rooms; and locations identified for an IT and IT-enabled services (ITES) hub. The aim is to position Dwarka as a premier destination for international conventions, exhibitions, and business summits. |
