Description

Description

The project entails the development of clean municipal waste-to-energy (WTE) projects with advanced technologies in small and medium-sized cities in the People’s Republic of China (PRC). Dynagreen Environmental Protection Group (Dynagreen) will develop the WTE projects based on public-private partnership with smaller municipal governments, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as soil and groundwater contamination. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed a deal with 10 banks to help Dynagreen develop the PPP projects. ADB will act as the lender of record with the local currency complementary loan structure. The facility is structured so that the borrower signs a single facility agreement with ADB, and in turn ADB signs a particiaption agreement with the commercial banks, so that ADB is the sole contractual lender to the borrower. https://ijglobal.com/articles/105137/updated-adb-signs-loan-for-chinese-waste-to-energy
