Description | This project is a roadway widening project in Henry County. The project is located on Eagle's Landing Parkway, 0.4 miles east of the I-75 interchange in Henry County. This project will continue the widening of Eagle's Landing Parkway from Eagle's Pointe Parkway through the intersection with SR 42/US 23 to 700 feet east of Talon Place for a total project length of 2.6 miles. This project will construct a 4-lane roadway (2 lanes in each direction) with a 44' wide depressed grass median up to the intersection with SR 42/US 23. After the intersection the roadway will be widened to 4-lanes (2 lanes in each direction) with a 20' wide raised median, which matches the configuration of Phase 1 of East Lake Parkway Extension at the proposed project's eastern terminus. This project includes 4' bike lanes, curb & gutter and 5' wide sidewalks on both sides. Both existing bridges over Norfolk Southern Railroad and Pates Creek will be replaced. |
