This application is for the establishment of the EaSI strand National Contact Point for the Czech Republic, hereinafter EaSI NCP CZ. Institute for Regional Development IRD applies for becoming EaSI NCP CZ in order to facilitate access to, use, and management of funding provided by ESF+ via EaSI strand. EaSI NCP CZ is likely to play an instrumental role in addressing the extremely low access rates and participation of Czech stakeholders in EaSI and other Community Programmes via seven Work Packages: 1. Helpdesk establishment and operation; 2. Organisation of thematic events; 3. Participation in thematic events; 4. Project visits; 5. Translations; 6. Outgoing job shadowing; and 7. Incoming job shadowing. IRD is a fit candidate for becoming EaSI NCP CZ as it used to act as Europe Direct Information Centre EDIC in the Czech Republic, 2013-2017. Hereby IRD-EDIC devised multiple innovative activities to reach out to diverse target groups, the know-how and skills developed while EDIC being potentially replicable by IRD as EaSI NCP CZ. Also, IRD activity will be proactively supported by organisations formally involved with EaSI NCP CZ via an expert advisory board. The members of the advisory board are skilled representatives of organisations active in the Czech labour sector (workforce integration, social services, assistance and care providers, etc.). These organisations will help EaSI Helpdesk to reach exponentially more numerous and greatly relevant target groups as the cooperating organisations themselves deal regularly with ie. NEETs, elderly, minorities, etc. Also, these cooperating organisations will equally disseminate the materials and services of EaSI NCP CZ. Lastly, to further boost the visibility of EaSI, IRD as EaSI NCP CZ will pursue a communication strategy (mainstream and social media), with a great focus on the direct participation of journalists in thematic events for dissemination, replication, and multiplication of impact.
