A 1,443-km crude oil pipeline developed by a consortium including TotalEnergies, CNOOC, Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), and Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation. It will transport 230,000 bpd of crude from Uganda’s Lake Albert Basin to Tanzania’s Port of Tanga. As of January 2026, the $5 billion project was 79% complete and on schedule for commissioning in July 2026.
