The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), also known as the Uganda–Tanzania Crude Oil Pipeline (UTCOP), is the world's longest heated oil pipeline. It is a joint venture project spanning 1,443 kilometers, employing 1,200 Tanzanians, and backed by over $5 billion in investments. The project has reached 50% completion and has already contributed to Tanzania's revenue through taxes and levies.
