Description | The East Colfax BRT Project includes new and enhanced transit stations, service amenities, improved pedestrian and bike connections, and placemaking opportunities. It will operate in side-running transit lanes along 15th and 17th Streets west of Civic Center Station to Denver Union Station, and side-running in mixed flow traffic east of Yosemite to I-225 with potential enhanced stations coordinated with the City of Aurora. The project aims to provide more reliable and frequent bus service, reduce transit travel time, provide affordable access to jobs and community services, enhance comfort and safety, and create streetscape and economic development opportunities. |
