Description | The East Lake Road Extension will help provide Henry County with an East-West corrdor between the Kelleytown Area and Eagles Landing/I-75. In addition, it will also provide access from the eastern portion of the county to Henry General Hospital. This project will extend East Lake Road beginning at Springdale Road on mostly new location for approximately 2 miles to SR 155 at East Lake Road. It is proposed to construct 4 lanes (2 lanes in each direction) separated by a 20-foot wide raised median with 10 foot wide shoulders of which 6.5 feet is paved and will include bike lanes. |
