Description | The $165-million East Perth Primary School project is Western Australia's first vertical public primary school, designed to cater for 600 kindergarten to Year 6 pupils. The school will be built on a 1.76ha site spanning a former parking lot in East Perth, with facilities including a library, science and art teaching spaces, a principal's office, sports field, multi-sport courts, and a two-floor octagonal hall. The design allows for future expansion to accommodate an additional 200 students. The project includes 22 car parks and provisions for bicycle and scooter parking. Construction is anticipated to start in June 2026 and complete by June 2028, with the school opening in the first term of 2029. |
