This new road section connects the Hirst Road-Rex Crighton Boulevard junction to Agricola Drive, off Shamrock Road, and aims to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity. The project is part of a multi-phase plan to extend the East-West Arterial eastwards to Frank Sound Road, providing a second corridor between the eastern districts and George Town, supporting future public transport, and offering safer routes for pedestrians and cyclists. |
