Description
Description | Doctors Without Borders (MSF), in partnership with the Eastern Cape Department of Health (EDoH), has been working to improve access to chronic care in rural settings of Eastern Cape by setting up medication pick-up points for diabetes management and supporting community-based organisations to provide close-to-home screening services. The project also includes a district-wide roll-out of HbA1c point-of-care testing to support diabetes management in the Amathole district. After three years of collaboration, MSF has started a gradual handover of the project to the EDoH. |
