The system has a total capacity of 200 megawatts, enough to power 600,000 Ukrainian homes for two hours, and aims to reduce blackout risks and stabilize the grid ahead of expected Russian attacks this winter. The project was completed between March and August 2025, with commercial operations starting on October 1, 2025. |
