Eastover Road Bridge Replacement

The Eastover Road bridge over Spring Creek in Wilson County was closed in January due to safety concerns including corroded beams, deteriorating concrete piers, and substandard safety railings. Private contractors are developing an early design for the bridge replacement, which will be submitted to the state for initial approval including a review of water flow under the bridge. A grant application has been filed to help advance the project. The repair timeline is estimated to be between six months to over a year.
