Description | A renewal ventilation improvement project that requires the mechanical upgrade including replacement of boilers, energy recovery ventilation (ERV) system upgrade, direct digital controls upgrade, and replacement of associated piping, as the system components are no longer meeting the building requirements. It is required as the direct digital control systems allows for a single control point for the facilities HVAC system. An ERV works by capturing the air that’s exhausted from a classroom and using that air to create the energy needed to ventilate the classroom. The completed project will increase outdoor air intake. |
