EchoGreen – Reshaping Our Environment

EchoGreen Project is an initiative promoted by the Siggiewi Local Council focused on issues relating to the environment Protection, climate change, the European Green Deal and the Circular Economy, bringing together citizens to explore, learn and collaborate on virtuous practices that guarantee a sustainable future for the young generations. The main goal is to promote among the citizens involved, behaviors aimed at environmental sustainability, promote a series of positive actions and raise awareness of the sustainable development of peripheral areas and at risk of hydrogeological instability. The partnership consists of 14 organizations from 13 EU countries: MT, LT, PT, NL, SI, CY, ES, IT, EL, SK, HU, BG and EE. The project will include 6WP lasting 4 days each, that will be: Siggiewi (Malta) 26-29 March 2025; Holloko/Budapest (Hungary) 11-19 september 2025; Bari (Italy) 2-5 December 2025; Vilanova de Poiares - Coimbra (Portugal) 9-12 February 2026; Haljala - Tallin (Estonia) 15-18 april 2026; Lubijana (Slovenia) 8-11 june 2026. During the project focusing attention will be reserved on the philosophy of the 3Rs. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, must be a fixed point in the life of each of us, the word environmental sustainability must become a nail fixed in our daily lives. The 3R philosophy must be a fixed point in the life of each of us, a Habitus to wear, the word environmental sustainability must become a conscious habit in our daily lives. Activities previous: Analysis, discussion on local impacts and experiences, Round Tables, Thematic Conferences, Simulation, Interactive Workshops, Seminars, Brainstorming, Press Conferences, Dissemination and Networking for the future. Discussion and information gathering for the Creation of a final output of the project, collected the Actions and Strategies for Environmental Protection. The title is “Decalogue EchoGreen”, ten symbolic rules, share between the partners, to be greener!
