Eclipse Metals Greenland Rare Earths Mining Project

exploration

Eclipse Metals is developing a rare earth mining project at the Ivigtût-Grønnedal complex in southwest Greenland. The project involves exploration and resource definition of a carbonatite-hosted rare earth deposit with a current inferred resource of 89 million tonnes grading 6,363 ppm total rare earth oxides (TREO). The project aims to supply Western markets with critical minerals, focusing on neodymium and praseodymium for permanent magnet applications. Key activities include diamond core drilling, metallurgical testwork, environmental and regulatory compliance, and infrastructure development for remote Arctic operations.
