Main objective : The ECO FAB 2 project aims to encourage the exchange and acquisition of knowledge, as well as the development of skills, in the field of eco-construction. The project plans to implement adapted training and exchanges of good practices between French and British stakeholders in terms of incentives methods for the adoption of renewable energies and eco-construction, directed towards individual and businesses. This project follows the pilot project ECO FAB, supported by the INTERREG IVA France (Channel) – England programme, which enabled actors from various environments, (training structures, environmental nd urban revitalisation trusts, local authorities, social workers and building companies) to get to know each other in order to develop further common activities. Main actions : Experimentation of eco-construction: - Renovation of a former school - Building of an eco-garden pod - Implementation of training activities integrating an eco-citizenship approach Training: - Training of craft people - Training of job seekers in their search for vocational projects - Organization of a seminar on the eco-citizenship approach Tools creation: - Eco-material learning kit - Franco-British glossary on eco-construction Events and communication - Amblie event: “L’éco-construction en pratique” - Brighton and Basse-Normandie events: “Eco Open House” - Hastings event: “Pathways to construction”
