Total cost of setting up of the project was estimated at US$6.4 million. ISA Power project was 8MW biomass power plant located at Kurud Bloch, Dhamthari District, Chhattisgarh. The project is operational since August-06 and was acquired by Greenko in September 2008. The plant used rice husk, saw dust and sal doc as the major fuel. The project is registered under CDM. The project has a 10 year PPA with CSEB (state DISCOM). Total cost of setting up of the project was estimated at US$6.4 million. |
