The aim of the Eco-Sport project is to raise awareness among young athletes and their mentors and sports organizations about climate-friendly actions that can be taken while playing sports, by collecting good practices from several countries and developing an innovative educational tool. The innovative tool is short videos that will be easily disseminated. The project has three main objectives: 1. to identify and share good practices in supporting climate and environment during sport in children and youth groups. 2. to develop a communication and educational tool in the form of short videos with good practices, possible behaviors and ideas on how to take care of the environment while playing sports. 3. dissemination using modern internet tools to reach as many athletes as possible in Europe - website, social media. The project will be coordinated by Academia Espanola and its partners will be 3 other organizations from Spain, Portugal and Czech Republic. The project will last 24 months, during which time good practices will be collected and a communication and educational tool adapted to the current times, very accessible and easy to share will be created. The project is linked to the European Green Deal and European Year of Youth.
