Translated version of this PSD: Russian The Bank is considering a loan facility to be used to provide solid waste collection and transportation equipment (special-purpose trucks, compactors, containers, etc.) under financial leases to small and medium size municipalities. The financial leasing scheme will target such end users as municipal companies or private operators competitively selected by municipalities The Project will promote innovation through a leasing product suited to the needs and financial capacity of small and medium municipalities. The transition impact potential comes from: (i) supporting the expansion of a private company in a leasing market niche that currently remains off the radar of the leasing companies owned by the large state banks; (ii) setting higher standards in governance and procurement, including the cost effectiveness and quality of competitively and transparently procured assets by municipalities.
