Ecosystem Accounts – Extent, conversion matrix and service accounts

Ecosystem accounts (based on the international statistical standard SEEA EA) are an important statistical tool for decision makers, analysts, researchers and many other users as these accounts provide structured information on ecosystems, their condition and the services they provide for use by society. The project will significantly increase the availability of ecosystem accounts for Denmark, as well as contribute to methodological development and knowledge on data sources in this area. Ecosystem accounts are relevant to many aspects of the European Green Deal, including the restoration of nature, biodiversity, climate and pollution.
