Between now and 2025, the demolition/reconstruction programme for the Immeuble Défense 2 will include a new development of around 30,000 m² called "Edenn". Located at the intersection of the Boulevards de La Défense, des Bouvets and rue Célestin Hébert, the building will sit between Origine, the new Vinci Campus and Axa's head office in Nanterre. Edenn will develop office space on the upper floors, services dedicated to the building on the base level and shops open to the public on the ground floor. The new development will include a food store and restaurant. It will feature a through ground floor with urban courtyards opening onto the existing boulevards and green spaces (patios, gardens, tree-lined walkways, green roofs). A mixed programme combining wood, concrete and metal Like its neighbour Origine, Edenn will feature a mixed wood, concrete and metal structure, in order to benefit from "the best environmental labels and certifications targeted (HQE level Excellent, BREEAM level Excellent, E+C E3C2-, BiodiverCityLEED level Platinium, BBCA level Excellence, OSMOZ, R2S 3 stars)". Edenn's different levels will be adorned with a host of green spaces. Finally, a landscaped street of almost 1,000 m² will link the Boulevard de La Défense to the Boulevard des Bouvets between the Origine building and the new Edenn building. This space will be open to the public during the day.
