Description | As part of a planned resurfacing project on Edgewood Avenue (State Road 111) from Beaver Street (U.S. 90) to Old Kings Road, FDOT is considering changes to the roadway that include the addition of signalized crosswalks at all four crossings of signalized intersections; reducing the width of travel lanes; replacing on-street parking with a separated bicycle lane; and reducing the posted speed limit from 40 mph to 35 mph from south of Commonwealth Avenue to Old Kings Road. These proposed modifications are tentative and subject to change. |
