The DIH REGIUNEA VEST Romania, located in Timisoara is aiming to empower companies to exploit at the maximum digital trends. The vision is scaling innovation in West Region Romania through digital transformation of companies by enabling them with tools, skills and international networking to exploit technological trends. The services will align the existing objectives related to: digital transformation, access to finance and international business networking, training in digital innovation and develop -stakeholder RDI projects. The proposed team have an extensive knowledge and international networking due to prior activities within EEN and Interreg projects. Now, the team wants to make a difference by implementing the EDIH functionality into the general organisational realm and infuse the existing knowledge and network into the newly created instrument. The EDIH is a merging initiative for West Region new for the existing ecosystem and well received by stakeholders during the regional meeting and interviews. Their contribution has been used to shape the services portfolio and to create a newly fresh approach to the current challenges and future projects of companies. EDIH REGIUNEA VEST Romania is striving to offer access to valuable service and to offer international presence for our companies without forgetting the existing needs within small manufacturing companies related to their digital transformation. This means that the value proposition is focusing on the creation of relevant business opportunities for companies. West Region EDIH is aware that it needs to self-sustain financially as a standalone business after the acceleration phase, so its targeting to focus on services that brings value for our regional companies.
