Objectives -Contribute to the prevention & combatting of GBV in GR, CY, UK, IT & EU, by: -Enhancing the education & awareness raising of girls & boys through creative art/cultural activities, so they can challenge social norms, gender stereotypes & promote gender equality (GE) & respect for others -Strengthening the competences of teachers, museum professionals/other professionals/volunteers on creative cultural education approaches that promote GE & prevent GBV -Enhancing the awareness of parents on role they can play in educating their children about GE -Providing educators in formal & non-formal settings with tools for working with children on GE promotion & GBV prevention Activities -Development of culture-based educational methodology & tools -Capacity building for teachers & professionals -Pilot implementation of culture-based educational methodology -Dissemination Persons benefiting in GR, CY, UK, IT -8000 school-age girls & boys -180 teachers, museum/arts professionals/volunteers who are/will be involved in education to end GBV -1200 parents Results -Enhanced skills & awareness of girls & boys about social norms, gender stereotypes, GE & respect for others, so that they are empowered to challenge norms, claim their rights & protect themselves -Strengthened competences of teachers, museum/arts professionals & volunteers on implementing cultural education approaches to educate children about GE & GBV -Enhanced awareness & participation of parents in educating children about GE -Strengthened role of schools & museums in promoting GE among children Outputs National needs & gaps reports & summary report; Identification of culture-based techniques for educating children; Culture-based educational methodology; Educ. material & online tools for children (& parents); modules for teachers/professionals (incl digital) & guidelines/manuals; 92 trainings; 20.000 leaflets; 4 infodays; Social media; 4 short films/animations; Project website; Final Conference.
